It's May?

Since when? O, like eleven days ago? Thanks voices in my head. I've been so caught up in testing that I haven't even noticed the month changed. This year is going by faster than it should.

Our netflix was being evil the other day and it took us like and hour and a half to watch a one hour episode of Dr. Who. -.- I was angry. I threatened to shoot the netflix but it didn't listen.

Ugh!! I STILL haven't watched Sherlock and I want to.... but Dr. Who.... and I'm READING Sherlock..... I keep making excuses I should just watch it. I ave it saved on my netflix so it shouldn't be difficult to access....... I will accomplish nothing towards this goal anytime soon....

I went to see a friend's coir concert yesterday. It was lovely! I don't like audience participation though. At all. Ever. Do not make me clap with you, I'm here to watch not be in the show. Well, audience participation is cool when it's not formal. Like, if you're already standing. But if half of the audience is wearing fancy shoes it is not acceptable.

Why is my mother so obsessed with home improvement shows? We are watching a show about landscaping..... we don't have a yard. I'm so confused.

I had a dream that no one had eyebrows. It was a scary dream. People look WEIRD without eyebrows. Remember that, it's vital information.

Stay nerdy!

Stuff and Things

Oh hi there!!
SO, I am uber excited for the summerness to come. On June 2nd we are going to be filming our Zombie movie. If you live in the Burien area and are reading this then come at noon to the Burien community center dressed as a zombie.

Other than that, some of my friends and I want to do live action fan fiction. I'll be playing Luna. YAY HARRY POTTER!!! I'm currently writing the script for the Druna fan fiction, but I get distracted by all the other scripts I write and end up not actually making any progress. At all. Ever.

I feel like I need a schedule for my blogging. I don't have that. I just blog when I can. Maybe I need like "Manga Monday" and "Tips Tuesday", "Theories Thursday" "Fan fiction Friday" I have no idea...... eh, this works just fine.

I want to make some Hunger Games or Harry Potter cupcakes. Maybe I'll do that sometime soon. I CAN DO THAT FOR THE BAKE SALE!!!! oh, yeah. My friend Rachel and I in order to raise money for editing equipment are going to bake things and sell them. Hurray Consumerism!! *Do-the-consumer-dance* This is when I question my sanity.

Because I am a dork, I've been collecting the figures for The Hunger Games. It's awesome. They amuse me a ton more than they should.

WELL I CAN'T FOCUS!!!! So I'm off to do other things.

Stay nerdy!!

It's been so long

I haven't blogged in forever....... wow.

Well, I had an audition yesterday and I have callbacks tomorrow. So yay to that!! I finished my Zombie Movie script and I'm going to film it on June second. Now to play with fake blood!!

My friends and I thought of some awesome nerdy pick-up lines. You wanna hear them?? OF COURSE YOU DO!!

1. Are you from Mordor? Cause you're hot
2. You must be a pikachu, because I'd definitely choose you.
3. Are you made of Methane? Because you take my breath away.
4. When I said "Accio Beautiful" I didn't think it'd work.
5. I'm going Solo tonight, do you wanna be my Leia?
and possibly my personal favorite: I wish I was your derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves.

Yeah..... That ^^ is what we do at lunch.

I'M ON POTTERMORE!!! Unfortunately I didn't get into Beta, but I have one now. I was sorted into Slytherin. Which confused me because I always thought I'd be a Ravenclaw. Hmm.....
In other Harry Potter news, my friends and I want to take our fan fictions and make them into live action short films. It would be a web series. Fun stuff man, fun stuff.

Stay Nerdy!

Ouran, Percy, and SUMMER

I am very, very close to the end of the episodes of Ouran High on netflix. Is that it? only 26 episodes? I've gotten emotionally attached to these characters!! THEY CAN'T LEAVE ME!!!! Honey and the Hitachiin twins are backgrounds on my iPod! It isn't fair, my life will be over! I'll suffer from withdrawals and sit in a corner crying, because who will eat cake with me if Honey is gone? Who I ask?? What will Happen between Hikaru and Haruhi?? Or Tamaki and Haruhi? Is my world coming to an end?! Well, I guess I can read the manga books next. Plus I need to watch Fruits Basket. Seriously, No more Ouran?? *sadIndiissad*

I do not currently own the fourth and fifth Percy Jackson book. I must find them so I can continue my reading!! I enjoy the books but have major problems with the movie. Yes, Logan Lerman is attractive. No, He shouldn't have played Percy. In the first book, Percy is supposed to be 13. They clearly state multiple times that Annabeth has curly blond hair. So naturally Hollywood casts a straight haired brunette girl?? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!

I haven't been able to get into The Book Thief yet, possibly because I started reading it at a family function. I will probably enjoy it more away from the noise of family.

SO EXCITED FOR SUMMER!!!! I just auditioned for the Seattle Children's theater's Summer season. WHOO!!! I talk a lot and fast when I'm nervous, so I sat there with my dad spouting off random facts and thoughts (Did you know giraffe's tongues are blue?) while other kids probably thought I was insane! Hopefully I'll be able to have a director's meeting with the people participating in my play festival. Why are our schedules so messy? Grrr.....

I guess from now on I will have to be stuck without my Ouran..... but....... it can't be the end......

Hunger games and Other things

I went to the midnight premier of The Hunger Games with my friend Sam and my Dad last night. It was very well done. They seemed to expect the audience to be smarter than the average movie audience, I liked that. Although, they did completely leave out Madge. Personally, I thought she was a very important character, considering she gave Katniss the mockingjay pin. Instead it was Greasy Sae, it just didn't have the same affect. Plus, I totally shipped Madge and Gale! GRR! *anger* We wandered around the teater asking people if they were Team Peeta or Team Gale. Most people prefer Peeta. We asked a group of people "Peeta or Gale?" and recieved a response along the lines of "Well, what are you asking? Like for Katniss or for me? Who would i rather marry or who would I rather makeout with, because hotness is different than marriage" This person was male, and I'm pretty sure he was there with his girlfriend. Made me laugh. All in all, I enjoyed the movie and it was very well done.

I would be watching an episode of Ouran High School Host Club if my netflix wasn't taking FOREVER to load. Since it is, I have no background noise and am a sad little girl.O wait, it just started. YAY!! Anime characters are gorgeous and I often wish they were real people instead of fictional animated ones. The twins in OHSHC have like a twincestial relationship. OMIGOD DID YOU SERIOUSLY JUST FREEZE?!?!?

I wish I could read faster and still comprehend what I read, then I could read like ten times more books!! I made a list today of books I want to read, not even all of them just some of them. I am very excited.

Anime, Hipsters, and Money

I love anime!! I also love the correct pronunciation of manga (main-gay) but I don't want to sound pretentious so I try to not to pronounce it like that around most people.

I enjoy hipsters. The little hipster boys in knit caps and glasses are the front men for some very good bands. I have to admit, I love how hipsters dress. Suspenders, beanies, flannel, skinny jeans, scarfs, bowties, ties, glasses, all the other hipster trends. Fashion facsinates me.

I finished Sea of Monsters now on to The Titan's Curse So much reading,so little time..... It's a shame really. There should be much more reading time and much less math time. I would be completely OK with that.

We have raised around $110 for our camera fund so Rachel and I should be making movies, web series, and parodies soon!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

3 days!!!

I'm so close to done with Sea of Monsters SO CLOSE!!! Rick Riordan is pretty cool.
I WAS RIGHT! Dad said that the girl on Hart Of Dixie wasn't in My Name is Earl. SHE WAS! HA!

I get way too excited about these things......... wow.

3 more days until the Hunger Games!!! We have midnight tickets. As much as I don't want to, I find things shipping Pale (Peeta/Gale) slightly adorable. My brain is like "But remember Katniss? Remember her and Peeta?" and I'm just like "Brain, look at this post, it's adorable!" then my brain freaks out and shuts down. Other than my insanity when encountering Pale posts it's Toast all the way (Clarification: Toast, Girl on fire- Katniss+ boy with the Bread- Peeta) I understand that "The Hunger Games isn't about shipping it's about a bigger theme" Well that doesn't mean I can't amuse myself with Ships anyway!!

A post filled with both giddiness and frustration

It frustrates me that I do not have my button maker currently do to the fact it is at my dad's house. Right now I can't make any more buttons to speed up the process of acquiring my camera. GR!!

So I went with my mom to buy our Comicon tickets today, we had to get them at this comic book store. I am in love with it!! I want to live there, sadly I can't, there would be problems with food and such.....

I am DYING waiting to be able to finish the triple "to be continued" Dr. Who episodes Dad and I are stuck on. My friend Zach tried to spoil Dr. Who for me the other day. I've only started watching this year and Zach has only seen the last two seasons. He doesn't even know who Rose is and she is (so far) my favorite character, considering I'm only on season 3. Still, NOT COOL, YOU DON'T JUST SPOIL DR. WHO!!!! OK, I'm done freaking out..... maybe.

This year when we go to Bumbershoot I want to ask people if we can film their best dance move. I think it could end up being a hilarious compilation, especially considering the insanity of music-festival-going-Seattlites. To do this I NEED A CAMERA!! *frustration* Everyone should just donate like $100 every day. -.- I know this won't happen, but we can hope.

I can't get past a level in Lego Harry Potter and it's making me sad. I have no idea wat to do! There are no tools in the room!!!! URGH!!

We were watching this show about strange afflictions and there were kids tat had Williams syndrome. They are really sweet and naturally want to be friends with everyone. I really want to work with them when I am older. Because they are so trusting, they do tend to have issues in the real world. Ahh, they're so adorable I want to volunteer at the summer camp they go to!!!!

While reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan I pictured the Will Grayson written by John Green as Hank Green. It made me giggle. That book is fantastic!

Lucidly dreaming, with Star wars in Wonderland

Bloggity blog blog blog.....

I started reading Alice in Wonderland to Natalie and I can't tell if she likes it or not.... I definitely like it but I am not a seven year old. I find the fact that it is a children's book odd at times because it's well..... weird. Lovely, but weird.

I've been seeing posts on 9gag.com and iwastesomuchtime.com about lucid dreaming. I must say, it sound absolutely and postatively terrifying. Not lucid dreaming itself, but the method they suggest. Basically you lay really still until you hallucinate. The girl who, after watching American Horror Story couldn't charge her phone because the basement dwelling creature was going to eat her hand, is not going to be able to do such things.

Recently (by recently I mean earlier today) I started reading the second book in the Percy Jackson series. I KNOW, I'm a slacker! but I was busy reading John Green books and finishing my reading requirements for school so get off my case!

Today Natalie asked if she could remove the star wars poster in our room and replace it with a Justin Beiber poster. My heart cried a little. It wouldn't be MY room too if we defiled it with EVEN MORE Justin Beiber. I only have that and my hand drawn Harry Potter cork boards that even make it LOOK like I live in this room. Well, that and my bed I guess. My point is THE STAR WARS POSTER MUST STAY!!   I would also like a floor to ceiling bookshelf filled with nerdtastic books but I know I won't get that, at least not for a while.

Sometimes I wish I had unlimited money to spend on books, music, movies, posters, t-shirts, and other random items. It would be pretty cool. Pretty cool indeed.

Decline in mental status

While on Facebook yesterday I saw a post from one of my old friends that said "Dannnng i need sum nummmbbas!!!" now, this girl used to be very intelligent. Or at least semi-intelligent. It makes me sad to see this decline in mental status.

I finished reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I highly recommend it. J.K Rowling liked it, you would too! Speaking of which, I love Harry Potter! Recently I wrote a parody of Part of Your World from Little Mermaid that I titled Wizarding World that I hope to film when I get my camera. Plus, I want to write a script about the marauders.

MUSICAL THEATER!! I am very excited about this topic because I am auditioning on the 25th for the summer season at Seattle Children's theater. It shall be fun!

I've always wanted to adapt a play of Alice in Wonderland that is slightly punk-ish. Like Alice being armed with a croquet mallet (I read that in a book) and have the Red Queen be even more terrifying than she as been portrayed. Alice in Wonderland is possibly my favorite children's book. I want to read it to my stepsister. It will be a lovely family bonding experience! I'm going up to my mom's house this weekend anyway, I should bring up the book!

I don't know how to end this so......
Fin.

Reading, Youtubers, and other things

Books are the staple of my life. Recently I've read Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. I've almost finished The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I have a whole list of books I want need to read. Not many Middle or High School students don't appreciate reading as much as some of my friends and I do. Many classmates seem utterly baffled by the fact that people read for fun, like I do. We get so stuck in the idea that reading is homework that we no longer feel as compelled to read outside of school assignments. It's understandable but none the less, very sad.

YouTube is amusing, I've subscribed to many insanely nerdy youtubers and plan to join them once I earn enough money for a camera and editing equipment. Horrible Fiction and the Vlogbrothers are two of my current favorites. I've been known to obsess over youtubers..... and fictional characters. This shouldn't be considered a bad quality because it shows I have interests.

Zombies have interested me for quiet a while now. I've recently finished a script about 5 teens in a zombie apocalypse that I plan to film sometime this summer. I find that I get utterly enthusiastic about the simplest things. Killing a character while writing the script for example. Does that make me a horrible person? I mean I don't laugh at real deaths and I've cried at other fictional deaths..... I don't THINK I'm a horrible person. I could just be crazy, who knows!
